About me..

I am M.V. Ashok, a retired Chief General Manager from the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD), With over three decades of expertise, I have dedicated my career to sustainable development, focusing on rural areas and empowering communities. My passion lies in designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful projects that transform lives. From scoping projects for Farmers' Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to watershed and tribal development initiatives, my experience spans a wide spectrum of rural development projects. Post-retirement, I've continued my mission, serving as a Senior Adviser at BAIF Pune and holding esteemed academic positions at institutions like MIT World Peace University and Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Besides a Bachelors degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore and a Masters degree from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute New Delhi, and a Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society of Training & Development New Delhi and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Welingkar Institute of Management Mumbai.
I have earned a Certificate in Financing of Micro enterprises from the University of Reading, UK, and a Certificate in Agribusiness Management from Cornell University, USA. 
Additionally, I've authored a book on ‘Emerging Trends in Agricultural Marketing in India’, focusing on FPOs and Agritech startups. My commitment doesn't stop with knowledge; I mentor FPOs, NGOs, and agricultural startups, facilitating their growth and connecting them with funding opportunities.
Driven by a vision for sustainable change, I've identified with esteemed organizations like 'Fuel a Dream' and 'Mission Samriddhi,' associating with crowd-funding and social impact initiatives.
